Homan Racing is a family go kart racing team based out of Quincy, IL. We are currently a one kart team running an Emmick chassis in the kid kart class. The kart is powered by a Comer 50cc engine. Our home track is the historic TNT Kartways in West Quincy, MO. The team is owned and operated by Lucas and Leanne Homan.
Homan Racing’s lead driver is Garrick Homan, who started his racing career in late 2011 at age 6. With no formal training or family history of kart racing, Garrick is quickly learning the focus and skills it takes to be a top level driver. With 2012 being the team’s first full year of racing, we couldn’t be more proud of our driver. Garrick finished in the top 5 in points in both the track championship at TNT Kartways and in the Mid-America Track Challenge. Garrick finished the 2012 season with 7 top five finishes and also got his first race win.
The primary goal at Homan Racing is that we have fun! Win or lose, at the end of the day it is about spending time with family and friends. We created this website to share our experience with family and friends and to show support for our sponsors.
